Dr. Brenda Jones is the Chair of Organizational Communication for Franklin University.  

Dr. Jones has 12 years of collegiate teaching experience in Small Group Communication, Business Communication, Organizational Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Presentational Speaking, and Professional Communication for Managers.

She earned a doctorate in Organizational Communication and a minor in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the Ohio State University, as well as a master’s degree in Communication at OSU.  Her dissertation was on Creativity at Work and she has a wide range of research interests including effective mediated communication.

Dr. Jones served as Editorial Assistant for the international journal Powder Technology and is a member of the National Communication Association (NCA) and the Association for Business Communication (ABC).
