Each Franklin major is designed with the ongoing input of industry experts to ensure you gain respected and relevant knowledge that can be applied instantly in the workplace.
Tim Reymann, Ph.D. - Program Chair
Dr. Reymann has been a member of Franklin's faculty for 16 years. Before joining the University, he spent 19 years serving as president and CEO for nonprofit organizations. Tim earned his doctorate in Organization and Management and also holds an MBA.
George Redmond - Lead Faculty
Professor Redmond has over 20 years of management and college-level teaching experience. Prior to teaching, he held positions that included financial manager and production and inventory manager. George also owned and operated a business training and consulting company. He holds a bachelor's degree and MBA from Assumption College.
Program Outcomes
- Define, explain, and properly use the terms, concepts, and principles in the functional areas of management, marketing, accounting, finance, and economics
- Define and discuss the legal and ethical obligations for working within the social environment of businesses
- Differentiate and evaluate business concepts and theories to solve complex problems in domestic and international environments using a multi-functional approach
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of business tools
- Research and analyze existing information resources
- Integrate business theories and concepts to determine the optimal strategic direction for an organization
