Souren Soumbatiants

Souren Soumbatiants, Ph.D. - Program Chair

Dr. Soumbatiants has diverse experience in academia and industry – both in the United States and abroad. Since joining Franklin in 2007, he has helped develop curriculum for the Business Economics and MBA programs. Dr. Soumbatiants earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of South Carolina.

Program Outcomes

  • Forecast business activity, including financial streams, based on economic models
  • Analyze integral parts of the economic system and evaluate their importance to sustainable economic growth
