The IT Professional Certificate Program is designed to help learners of various background and needs to acquire the skills that can be applied immediately to real work environment as an IT Professional.

Participants will have the flexibility of taking individual courses within the program or earning the certificate by completing the required courses.

Each course is carefully put together by combining the study of the latest material with on-the-job work experience.

IT Professional Certificate Program - Microsoft Business Intelligence (6-Courses)

Designed to help individuals with limited exposure in IT learn and become proficient with the Microsoft Business Intelligence product suite which consists of SQL Server 2012, T-SQL, Reporting Services (SSRS), Integrating Services (SSIS), and Analysis Services (SSIS).

Student can take one course at a time which runs for 11 weeks, or choose to participate in the entire program spans over 9 months.

Student will receive a course completion certificate upon successfully completing the course work. However, to receive the certificate for the entire program, students need to complete all three required BI courses and two electives with satisfactory attendance and timely submission of all lab assignments.

BI001 The BI001 course covers key functions of SQL Server 2012 and T-SQL using real world projects and scenarios, so that student can start looking for SQL developer, System analyst, and Report developer related positions after successfully completion of this course.
BI002 The BI002 course focuses on the Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). Students will learn how to perform Extract, Transform and Load capabilities as well as the Import and Export Wizard, Designer and API Programming tools using SSIS. We will also introduce the concept of performing multidimensional data analysis using SSAS, and how it works with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint for analysis,
BI003 The BI003 course is designed to help students gain understanding of the data warehousing concept as well as introduction of some popular business intelligence reporting tools, and how to use them to create complex, interactive reports for doing data analytics and BI research in the real-world.

Oracle DBA Certificate Program (6-Courses)

Designed to help individuals with limited knowledge in IT and those who are looking to advance their careers in the technology field learn and become proficient as a professional Oracle database administrator in the real-world. The curriculum is designed to instill a comprehensive understanding of the skills needed from handling the basic installation of an Oracle database to performing the advanced RAC database administration, and the installation and configuration of Oracle Goldengate and Data Guard. It also covers Unix/Linux fundamentals and basic Shell and PERL script programming as they are essential to accomplishing day-to-day operations as a DBA in the work environment.

ORA001 The ORA001 course is the foundation of the three core courses. It covers the fundamentals of basic Oracle database administration. Our expert instructors will teach students the basic SQL and PL/SQL and reinforce each topic with carefully structured hands-on projects and lab assignments that, along with the ORA002 course, will prepare students for the corresponding Oracle Certified Associate Exam.
Students will be able to apply for SQL developer, Database analyst positions upon completion of this course.
ORA002 The ORA002 course is designed to help students gain a deep and solid understanding of some of the most important responsibilities of a DBA, which is database management, performance tuning, backup and recovery.
Students will have plenty of opportunity to get hands-on experience to learn and master these skills through the lectures, labs and project assignment by our expert instructors.
At the end of this course, students will be able to perform the majority of the tasks required as a professional Oracle DBA at the job.
This, along with the ORA001 course, will help students prepare for the corresponding Oracle Certified Associate Exam.
After completing these two courses, students will be able to apply for Oracle DBA, Database developer, SQL developer and Database/System analyst related jobs.
ORA003 This is the most advanced course of 3 course series in the Oracle DBA certificate program. We will cover four advanced topics to help students become familiar with the concepts and learn how to use them in the real-world situation. We will also cover the fundamentals of shell scripts and basic PERL programming.
At the end of the course, students will be able to install, configure and troubleshoot in the Oracle RAC environment; setup and configure Data Guard and Oracle Goldengate. This course is designed to help students prepare for the related certification exams as well as skillset required for senior positions in the Oracle database space.

Six Sigma Black Belt for Healthcare Certification

This 10-week course is designed to train individuals in LEAN Six Sigma skills and strategies that can be applied within the healthcare industry to improve processes and provide safe, effective care environments. The learner will demonstrate the practical application of tools utilized with LEAN Six Sigma methodologies.  

Participants will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge learned during this course concurrently with a case study designed specifically to use Six Sigma methodologies. Participants who demonstrate proficiency of the application of the Six Sigma methodologies and use of the tools through the final case presentation will be certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt.

This four-week seminar (held Thursdays 6pm-8pm) will provide the skills and knowledge needed to participate as a Six Sigma Green Belt on a process-improvement project team and lead a Green Belt-level process-improvement project.
