Six Sigma Black Belt Certification

This eight-week certification program provides participants with the skills to lead a Six Sigma Black Belt process improvement project team and a Six Sigma Champion Team in identifying opportunities for improvement within an organization. Participants will learn the Six Sigma Business Management methodology, as well as the role of a Black Belt project leader. 

Participants will also learn to work within an organizational structure and guide Six Sigma Champions in improvement opportunity identification and project selection, basic LEAN (Learn, Examine, Amend, Note) principles, team dynamics and situational leadership skills, advanced return on investment analysis methods, and advanced statistical analysis tools.

Six Sigma Black Belt for Healthcare Certification

This 10-week course is designed to train individuals in LEAN Six Sigma skills and strategies that can be applied within the healthcare industry to improve processes and provide safe, effective care environments. The learner will demonstrate the practical application of tools utilized with LEAN Six Sigma methodologies.  

Participants will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge learned during this course concurrently with a case study designed specifically to use Six Sigma methodologies. Participants who demonstrate proficiency of the application of the Six Sigma methodologies and use of the tools through the final case presentation will be certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt. 

Participants will need to meet certain criteria in order to be considered proficient.  Those participants who complete the course and do not demonstrate proficiency within the acceptable range will receive a certificate of completion.

Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

This four-week seminar (held Thursdays 6pm-8pm) will provide the skills and knowledge needed to participate as a Six Sigma Green Belt on a process-improvement project team and lead a Green Belt-level process-improvement project. 

The instructor will lead participants through a Six Sigma project-process improvement project utilizing the DMAIC roadmap while teaching the concepts and tools needed to participate and lead successful Green Belt projects. Participants will also receive an introduction to the Applied Six Sigma Business Management methodology, as well as the roles of Green Belt project team members and Green Belt-level project leaders.

Six Sigma White Belt Certification

During this three-hour session (held 9am-12pm) participants will gain an understanding of LEAN Six Sigma, including how it’s developed and how the concept is used to streamline and strengthen manufacturing and service industries. 

Skills learned in this program will enable participants to understand how LEAN Six Sigma concepts can improve quality and reduce cost while refining customer satisfaction. Participants will also learn how LEAN Six Sigma methodologies can enhance quality programs, retain customers, and drive down costs.
