Dr. Welch earned his Doctorate in Business Administration in Accounting from Argosy University and his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Administration from East Tennessee State University. His doctoral dissertation focused on the relative effectiveness of the various federal whistle-blower-protection laws.
