Dr. Jo Hamilton is Director of Teaching Effectiveness at Franklin University, a position earned after 6 years of service in Franklin's MBA program.  Prior to joining Franklin, she spent 13 years in various business, consulting, and education settings improving performance in the areas of business-to-business relationship management, team effectiveness, and business strategy alignment.   She is expert in curricula design, technology-enhanced learning, and performance support.  She has also founded or co-founded several businesses and enjoys mentoring young entrepreneurs.

She received her Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology from The Ohio State University, her M.B.A. in Information Systems from Atlanta University, and her B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Hamilton is a Certified Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument Facilitator, Certified Professional Coach, and former member of the National Black MBA Association.

She designed and led the first-ever national study identifying the expert competencies of world-class strategic account managers.  The results of this study appeared in the nationally recognized book, "The Seven Keys to Managing Strategic Accounts".

A native of Chicago, Illinois, she is married to Joseph Hamilton.
