Karen Ferguson is Program Chair for the Applied Management Undergraduate major at Franklin University. Prior to joining Franklin, Dr. Ferguson served in the US Army for 12 years. While pursuing her advanced degrees, Dr. Ferguson gained experience in a number of areas including higher education, curriculum design and training, quality, and performance and business consulting. Dr. Ferguson serves on the Board for IMPACT Safety and on the Human Resources Committee for Vision and Vocational Services. Her research interests include human resource management systems, firm performance, performance improvement, and organization development and change.
