An Education You
Our regional accreditation means we provide high-quality academics, and our nonprofit status means we put you first. Without the need to please shareholders, we’re able to place our focus on what really matters – you, the busy, adult professional. Here, you’ll create your future, advance your goals and finish what you start.
Franklin University’s embedded dissertation process starts when you enter the program. Our structured curriculum helps you advance your discipline knowledge as you investigate a theoretical framework, apply methodologies and construct your own research protocol. With dissertation-specific courses, faculty-supported mentoring, milestone checklists, and other resources and support, you can accelerate degree completion while minimizing stress and uncertainly.
No GMAT or GRE
If you’ve earned a master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, and your GPA is above a 3.0, the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is not required for admission into any of Franklin’s doctoral programs.
You’re always supported at Franklin, thanks to student-faculty learning communities, faculty mentoring, and a two-part doctoral colloquium specifically designed to ensure that you stay on track and motivated to succeed. These cross-disciplinary opportunities can be completed on campus or online.
We honor both previous and real-world learning. At Franklin, you may transfer up to 24 credit hours, shortening both your time-to-completion for your degree, as well as tuition costs. Prior doctoral coursework, and professional credentials and licensures may be eligible for transfer credit.
