The accounting profession is experiencing tremendous change which provides significant opportunities for accounting students.  According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the current trend in employment is moving toward positions requiring college degrees and increased technology skills.  Employment of accountants is expected to grow 10 to 20 percent through the year 2010.
