George A. Redmond

George Redmond has over 20 years of management and college level teaching experience, including ten years as a department chair. Prior to teaching, Redmond was a financial manager at Waters Chromatography Division of Millipore Corp, a multinational company where he was responsible for establishing mercantile credit lines for the company’s North American customers. He also has experience in the manufacturing sector, where he served as a production and inventory manager. Additionally, Redmond has owned and operated Redmond Associates, a business training and consulting company for small businesses.

Redmond holds a Bachelor and Master of Business Administration degree from Assumption College. He has completed all his requirements for a Doctor of Business Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University and he is currently completing his dissertation on Transformational Leadership. His research interests include leadership and organizational development through the development, enhancement, and implementation of human-centered intellectual capital within organizations.

Redmond has received many awards including the National Society of Collegiate Scholars Lifetime Distinguished Member Award 2003 and The Blue Key Society teaching Recognition Award six years in a row (1995-1999). He is also a Sam M. Walton Fellow of Free Enterprise. Redmond is often a Keynote Speaker at various functions and has appeared on national television, including a segment on World News Tonight with Peter Jennings.
