Before I found Franklin, I had a few people tell me I didn't seem focused. Now I realize it wasn't me that wasn't working – it was the schools I was attending. I'd taken classes at different colleges but nothing really clicked for me. My last experience before Franklin was particularly bad: I was at a huge, "prestigious" school  and I felt like a number. Worse than that, I would ask questions and they wouldn’t have answers. It was incredibly impersonal and unfulfilling.

I heard about Franklin from a friend and decided to consult the admissions office. From my first meeting with my Student Services Associate (SSA), things just felt better. Within an hour he had helped me map out my entire degree plan; now all I had to do was go out and do it! My SSA continued to be helpful, keeping me on track during my time at Franklin, and sure enough I graduated on schedule.

Another thing that really helped me succeed at Franklin was the small class sizes. The faculty members were incredibly helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to help me reach my goal. I found the class atmosphere to be really hands-on, and enjoyed working directly with the other students and developing personal relationships with them. I especially appreciated the fact that I was not just another face in the crowd.

The classroom interaction has really paid off in the real world now that I've graduated I feel much more comfortable in front of other people and am better able to communicate and solve problems.

Franklin’s trimester schedule was also a big advantage. The accelerated classes helped me move along because I could keep my goals in sight. Without Franklin University, it would have taken me a lot longer to earn my degree. To be honest, I was so discouraged before I found Franklin; I might not have kept going. Luckily, everything worked out great and I’m proud to be a Franklin graduate!
