Why did you choose Franklin University?
Franklin chose me, it seems! I looked around for a way to take my profession to the next level – I’m in landscape architecture – and Franklin’s Vantage MBA^® Program had all the qualities I wanted to help me break into commercial development and planning. Once I found Franklin, I knew right away it was perfect for me.

How did you feel about being an adult student?
I like how we meet just one night a week because it lets us develop real clarity from our assignments. I like knowing ahead of time what the subject matter is and working with the same group of students from class to class, which is quite different than my undergraduate experience.

Tell us how what you’re learning relates to your profession.
I work for a small company, so I touch all facets of the business. Proposal writing, budgeting, strategic decision making – you name it, I can see how everything I’m learning in the Franklin MBA applies directly to my work. The connection between what I do at work and what I’m learning at school is strong.

Any thoughts about the Vantage MBA Program?
I’m pleased with the academics. The Program has been very rewarding and will help me be prepared for the next juncture in my career.

What was your overall experience with Franklin?
The networking is amazing! I’ve genuinely enjoyed building social capital the most. I’ve made great new friends and great business contacts.

Any words of advice for future Franklin students?
I highly recommend it for driven, ambitious people. But it’s intense! The time commitment is not to be taken lightly if you really want to do well. Be sure to buckle down and be careful about putting your time in the important places.
