| Daniela Matos Business Administration Major Why did you choose Franklin University? The two most important things I was looking for in a university were tuition I could afford and classes that work with my schedule – Franklin University offers me both. The classes are also small, so I can interact more easily with students and professors. How do you feel about being an adult student? I feel I am more mature and, consequently, I take my studies more seriously. When I was younger I used to think, “I have to go to school.” Now I think, “I am going to school because I want to learn more.” Education is important in becoming a successful professional. Sometimes international students encounter language barriers during the courses, but having supportive instructors has been great. I feel like I get something from each class; the faculty members bring real-life experience to the classroom. My classmates are experienced professionals and are serious about their studies, which helps me learn more, stay interested and, as a result, earn higher grades.
