| adjunct instructor for several different academic Programs. The instruction was concentrated in the area of human resources, as a result of his many years of directing the human resource function of the largest healthcare system in Ohio, US Health, now known as OhioHealth. Upon receiving superior student evaluations, Terry became heavily recruited by Franklin to come aboard full time to help develop a new master’s-level Program, while also serving as a Program Chair and faculty member. In addition to his full-time duties at Franklin University, Terry also provides training and consulting services to numerous clients. He is a certified practitioner of the Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI) and directs training activities in several areas including diversity awareness and management, team building, conflict management, change management and various methods of human resource management. Terry also provides consulting services in the following areas: developing diversity programs, compensation and benefit plan development, creative staffing, volunteer management, project management and building social capital. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Terry received his undergraduate degree from Defiance College in Defiance, Ohio. He completed his graduate work at The Ohio State University, where his quantitative dissertation study of focus was on social/public policy implementation. Terry is a member and immediate past president of the Board of Trustees for the Columbus Metropolitan Library system of Franklin County; appointee of the State of Ohio’s Unemployment Compensation Advisory Commission; past vice chair of the Franklin County ADAMH Board of Trustees; past cabinet member of the United Way Fund Raising Campaign; and past trustee of the Franklin County Children Services Board. Terry also is a member and vice president of the Columbus Board of Education, to which he was elected in 2003. | |
