Martina Peng

Martina Peng, Ph.D., CFP® - Program Chair

Dr. Peng holds a Ph.D. in Consumer Finance from The Ohio State University. In 2010, she was designated a Certified Financial Planner by the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards Inc. Dr. Peng is active in central Ohio financial planning organizations and focuses her financial research on decision-making, behavior analysis, and education policy.

Program Outcomes

  • Demonstrate written and oral communication skills in financial planning
  • Analyze ethical issues in the financial planning profession
  • Integrate strategies and techniques to manage financial exposure due to personal or business risk
  • Integrate financial planning strategies and techniques to maximize the present value of the client’s after-tax net worth
  • Integrate strategies and techniques for wealth accumulation during working years and withdrawal during retirement years
  • Integrate strategies to efficiently preserve and distribute accumulated wealth
  • Develop long-term strategies and recommendations for a comprehensive financial plan
