Franklin University serves more than 11,000 students annually, 2,000 of which hold previous credit from CSCC. On March 2, 2009 Columbus State Community College and Franklin University signed a revitalized 3+1 agreement to extend and expand our successful partnership.

 

     1st year at Columbus State

+  2nd year at Columbus State

     =  your associate's degree

+   3rd year at Columbus State

           +  4th year at Franklin

     =  your bachelor's degree

 

Franklin University encourages CSCC students to complete the first three years of their bachelor degree at CSCC and complete their 4th year at Franklin, providing students the opportunity to complete their bachelor's degree for approximately $22,000. With 25 undergraduate majors to choose from, students can take classes at one of 4 central Ohio locations or entirely online.

You also can meet with a Franklin representative at Columbus State's Office of Counseling & Advising Services (Aquinas Hall, Room 116) from 4-5 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays during winter quarter.

 

3+1 Completion Guides

If you have, or will receive your Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or Associate of Applied Science in a Career or Technical Program from Columbus State, the following guides will show how your degree transfers to Franklin to meet the requirements for a particular major.  

 

Please note, that while the completing the 'closest' program is encouraged, students of both the Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, as well as any major, can pursue the bachelor's degree of their choice.
