Dr. Michael Szakaly, a longtime educator, serves as the Dean of Franklin University of Ohio's Indianapolis location. In this role, he leverages more than 30 years of experience and relationships with Indiana organizations to ensure that students in Indiana have access to higher education by better preparing them for the ever-changing needs of the workplace.

In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations for Franklin University, Dr. Szakaly works to form new - as well as strengthen existing - partnerships with other university colleagues, chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, industry and community leaders, and other regional partners to positively impact the citizens of Indiana.

Dr. Szakaly is a proponent of continuous learning and encourages those around him to become lifelong learners.

Dr. Szakaly earned his Doctorate of Education degree in Adult/Higher Education, his Master of Arts degree in Executive Development, and Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at Ball State University.
