Franklin University Hosts Career Event

INDIANAPOLIS, IN

Franklin University of Ohio will present an informative free event titled “Navigating Your Career:  Strategies to Design Your Own Path,” designed to help identify career direction and ways for attendees to sell themselves for the jobs they want.

The two-hour event, hosted by Holly McFarland, Director of Graduate Student Coaching Services at Franklin University, and Melanie Pistiolas, Career Consultant for Lee Hecht Harrison, will help participants identify career direction, as well as:

  • Discover their strengths and explore what                                                                                           industries need now
  • Develop an effective career plan
  • Access the secret, unpublished job market
  • Market their qualifications in an interview

The event will be held at Franklin University’s new location on the northeast side of Indianapolis and is free and open to the public. Interested members of the community are encouraged to RSVP early – there is limited seating available.  Franklin University is known in the higher education industry as a premiere provider of quality, affordable educational programs for busy adults. The University offers 25 undergraduate majors and three graduate programs with courses offered online and on campus. The new facility is conveniently located in Castleton at Allison Pointe Office Park near the intersection of 82nd Street and Allisonville Road.
