Employees pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree can maximize their time and tuition benefits through the U-LEARN program. Through U-LEARN, in addition to free books, you can take unlimited associate- or bachelor’s-level courses for $5,250 per calendar year. For associates eligible for $5,250 in tuition reimbursement, this results in $0 out-of-pocket education costs. Note: Courses taken toward the $5,250 tuition benefit are not eligible for the discounted rate.
All Columbus Department of Public Safety employees can take advantage of free textbooks and a 20% discount toward Franklin University master's certificate and degree programs, and a 10% discount on Franklin's doctoral programs.
Spouses and dependents of the City of Columbus are also eligible for benefits. Request free program information by submitting the form or submit your online application.
