Accounting Faculty

We are currently seeking applicants for a full-time faculty member in our growing Accounting and Forensic Accounting Programs who have general financial and managerial accounting knowledge as well as tax and/or information systems knowledge. The Accounting Faculty role has primary responsibility for course development, teaching, providing leadership to adjunct faculty, and course management for face-to-face and on-line courses in the Programs as well as other associated program needs.
The faculty position requires that the candidate hold a Doctoral degree in Accounting, Applied Economics or Business Administration with a concentration in accounting or accounting related areas including taxation or information systems from a regionally accredited institution. Professional accounting certification such as a CPA is preferred. In addition, applicants should have at least eight to ten years of practical accounting or related experience, managerial experience in a corporate environment as well as tax and/or information systems knowledge. Applicants are required to have teaching experience in accounting at a college/university. Computer proficiency is also required. Applicants must be able to communicate and work effectively with students, staff, alumni, adjunct faculty, and members of the professional community. Successful candidates will be organized, have effective multi-tasking skills, and be able to work in a rapid-change environment.
