We are currently seeking applicants for a part-time Business Faculty member at our growing Indianapolis site. While the position will be located in Indianapolis, the Faculty member would work with and be supported by the Program Chair and lead faculty members located at the Columbus campus. The primary responsibilities include teaching, staffing business courses, mentoring adjunct business faculty, and tutoring business students. Other duties include resolving student concerns, participation in academic committees, and working with professionals in the community.
The ideal candidate will hold a Doctorate from a regionally accredited institution in a business discipline or related field and have the qualifications to teach a wide range of business courses. An out of field doctorate with an MBA may be considered. Computer proficiency, five years professional work experience in appropriate fields and three years teaching experience are required. Applicants must be able to communicate and work effectively with students, faculty, staff, alumni, adjunct faculty and community professionals. Successful candidates will be organized, have effective multi-tasking skills, and be able to work in a rapid-change environment.
