Chair - Division of Arts and Sciences
Franklin University is seeking a Chair for the Division of Arts and Sciences. The Division Chair will promote and support the vision and mission of the University. Primary responsibilities include oversight of academic quality within the Division, supervising and evaluating faculty and related staff, and acting as a key advisor to the College Dean. This position reports directly to the Dean of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Technology and will have responsibility for curriculum oversight, new program development, and the promotion of a collaborative working environment.

The Division Chair requires a doctoral degree; knowledge of higher education regulations, compliance, and accrediting agencies; and a demonstrated commitment to collaborative and collegial relationships. The ideal candidate for this position is one who has proven success as a faculty member and experience leading others. Preferred candidates will have strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to work independently. This job also requires a high degree of confidentiality.
