Director of Employee Engagement and Communications
Franklin University is a student-centered, innovative leader in higher education. We currently have a unique opportunity for a Director of Employee Engagement and Communications to join an excellent team of Human Resources professionals. Position responsibilities include; engaging employees with the university, each other, and the community. The Director will plan and organize employee events and develop internal communications with a key understanding of Franklin University’s mission and strategic plans. This individual will work with University leadership and various departments to develop and implement organizational communication strategies and compose polished University correspondence. Other duties involve orchestrating university wide recognition programs as well as community outreach opportunities.
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative person with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and 5 to 7 years of direct or related experience in events planning and employee engagement and communications. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in planning large events in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills.
