Economics Adjunct
Franklin University seeks applicants for a part-time faculty position to teach Principle of Macroeconomics and/or Principle of Microeconomics classes. The University promotes a student-centered, quality-teaching environment, focused on working adults. Founded in 1902, Franklin University has been the leading educator of nontraditional students in central Ohio and enjoys the strong support of the local business community.
We are seeking an adjunct that can be flexible to teach Economics for classes that are either six or twelve weeks in length. These sessions will be offered both online and onsite. The onsite classes may be either daytime or evening classes, but most of them will be offered in the evening. The successful candidate will have a good sense of fiscal and economic awareness, plus have had at least one economics course at the graduate level during their academic career. A business background such as financial advising, investment and other financial experience is a plus. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
Minimum educational qualification is a master’s degree and computer literacy.
