Indianapolis - Mathematics Faculty 

Franklin University of Ohio seeks qualified candidates for the position of Part-time Lead Faculty for Mathematics and Statistics at our Indianapolis location. 

Founded in 1902, Franklin University, a non-profit institution, has a long tradition of providing student-centered, life-long higher education in a global context.  The University, founded in Columbus, Ohio is opening a full service location in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.  The University provides undergraduate and graduate students, who often work full-time, the breadth of knowledge and career focused applications of a balanced education.  The University is a non-tenure granting institution annually serving nearly 11,000 students. 

We are currently seeking applicants for a part-time Lead Faculty member to support the Mathematics and Statistics curriculum offered at the Indianapolis location. The Lead Faculty member would work with and be supported by the Program Chair and mathematics and statistics faculty members located at the Columbus campus. The primary responsibilities of the position include teaching, staffing courses, mentoring adjunct faculty, and tutoring students. Other duties include resolving student concerns, participation in academic committees, and working with professionals in the community.

The ideal candidate will hold a Doctorate degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Statistics or a related field, from a regionally accredited institution. Applicants are required to have relevant teaching experience at a regionally accredited college/university.  Computer proficiency is also required.  Applicants must be able to communicate and work effectively with students, faculty, staff, alumni, adjunct faculty and community professionals.  Successful candidates will be organized, have effective multi-tasking skills, and be able to work in a rapid-change environment.
