Franklin University, located in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a part-time Faculty member for the MBA Program. This Faculty member will work 24 hours per week in an environment focused on teaching working adults. Responsibilities include teaching courses across the Program, oversight of courses across the Program, along with hiring, mentoring, and managing adjunct faculty. Other responsibilities include scheduling and staffing of courses, and University service/committee work. Faculty members work in collaboration with instructional designers, practitioners in the field, our in-house multi-media group and peers to create adult-centered active-learning courses. Research is not required, but is supported.
Applicants for faculty positions must hold a doctorate degree from a regionally accredited in a business discipline, and have the qualifications to teach International Business. Computer proficiency, professional work experience in appropriate fields and teaching experience in higher education are required. Faculty must be able to work effectively with students, staff, and adjunct faculty. Willingness to travel and teach internationally is desired.
