Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Planning & University Services
Franklin University has a position available to support the Vice President of Planning & University Services as an Administrative Assistant. This person will be responsible for managing, organizing, scheduling and maintaining the administrative functions for the Vice President. This includes skillfully preparing reports, drafting correspondence, storing, retrieving and synthesizing information for dissemination, conducting small research projects, managing the calendar, scheduling meetings, event planning, budget tracking and other general office duties.
This individual should be able to work with minimal supervision, be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to provide great customer service. In addition, the administrative assistant will need to have superb communication, organizational and interpersonal skills while maintaining confidentiality of the office. The candidate should have a proven ability to work effectively in a multi-tasked team environment and capable of managing projects. The successful candidate must be highly PC literate and proficient with software including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
Candidate must possess a strong customer-centered philosophy and develop an understanding of, and agreement with, Franklin’s relationship management principles and University values.
