Business Office Work Study Assistant

The Business Office Work Study Assistant will assist the Business Office team in a variety of roles that includes, but is not restricted to: picking up book vouchers and daily receivables from the Welcome Center, assisting with the departmental mail, answering student account inquiries, report generation, and maintaining documentation of all work. This position will be directly involved in learning the student receivables function of the University as well as reconciliation for those receivables for the department.

Hours are flexible and will vary depending on the candidate’s availability. The ideal candidate will be able to work 20-25 hours a week, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 9-5.
Candidates must:  be proficient with electronic communication – email, internet and other forms of electronic communication, have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, demonstrate strong administrative skills including typing accuracy, the ability to run a copier and scan documents, and knowledge of file systems with an attention to detail.  

Accounting experience is not necessary; however, this position requires a degree of comfort with accounting processes and customer service.

All candidates must be current Franklin students, and have Federal Work Study eligibility.
