College of Arts, Sciences, and Technology Administrative Work Study Assistant

The College of Arts, Sciences, and Technology is seeking a Work-Study Student to assist the department by providing administrative support for programs, services, and activities. Primary work assignments and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

General Responsibilities:
• Meeting services support
• Assist with data reports
• Research requests
• Special projects as assigned

Work Hours: Hours of work will vary depending on the candidate’s availability and the workload of the department.  The ideal candidate will be able to work 20-25 hours a week, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8-5.

Qualifications: Candidate must be detail oriented, dependable, able to multi-task, and proficient with Microsoft Office products. Candidates must also display strong communication and problem- solving skills as well as the ability to work with highly confidential documents.

Supervision: This position will be a part of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Technology, and primarily supervised by the Assistant to the Dean of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Technology. The student may work with/for other staff in the unit on a project basis, as time, skills, and need dictate.

All candidates must be current Franklin students, and have Federal Work Study eligibility.
