College of Arts, Sciences, and Technology Work Study Assistant
The College of Arts, Sciences, and Technology Work Study Assistant provides office and administrative support to Faculty and Staff, and assistance with special projects. Duties include, but are not limited to: copying, sorting, scanning, and collating; handling book requests and orders; mail sorting and delivery; maintain, track, and distribute supplies; prepare large mailings; revise and post weekly Course Tally; schedule meetings; filing; budget tracking; note-taking; distribute promotional and informational literature; support special events; assist with research; and greeting students and visitors.
Hours are flexible and will vary depending on the candidate’s availability and the workload of the Department. The ideal candidate will be able to work 20-25 per week, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8-5. Occasional early morning and evening hours are required to support special events.
The successful candidate will: have collaborative skills; be able to multi-task and prioritize; organized; competent with MS Office products; have excellent customer service skills; possess attention to detail; and be proficient with e-mail and Internet.
