College of Health and Public Administration Work Study Assistant
The College of Health and Public Administration Work Study Assistant provides office and administrative support to Faculty and Staff. Duties include, but are not limited to: mail sorting and delivery; preparation for large mailings; copying, sorting, scanning, collating, and filing; research; note taking for minutes; and assistance with special events and projects.
Hours are flexible and will vary depending on the candidate’s availability and the workload of the Department. The ideal candidate will be able to work 20-25 hours a week, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8-5. Occasional evening hours are required to support special events.
Candidate must: have experience with e-mail and Internet; be proficient with Microsoft Office products; have customer service skills; have the ability to multi-task and prioritize; be able to work independently and be self-directed; possess strong attention to detail; have collaborative, teamwork skills; and excellent organizational skills
Candidate should be proficient in using social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. Experience implementing or coordinating social media campaigns or strategies is preferred.
