Community College Regional Manager

A unique educational alliance between Franklin University (based in Columbus, Ohio) and the community colleges throughout Ohio has created a need for a Community College Regional Manager in Ohio.

Primary responsibilities will be to act as the primary resource of recruitment for student transfer to Franklin University. This individual will develop and implement recruiting, marketing and communication strategies that will help identify, prospect and qualify new undergraduate student enrollment opportunities. This position will be based out of our main campus in downtown Columbus and travel throughout central Ohio will be required.  Travel will primarily be day trips to these locations but will expand as new relationships are established. The position will work hand-in-hand with representatives at the various community colleges in promoting this program. This is an excellent opportunity to build upon our regional presence and work with students, faculty and staff constituents at multiple institutions.

This position requires a professional with excellent interpersonal skills, critical thinking skills, and highly developed oral and written communication skills who can work independently to maintain and build relationships with students and key community college representatives.  A Bachelor’s degree is required with a Master’s degree being preferred.  A minimum of 5 years of experience in admissions, recruitment and relationship development is strongly preferred, along with demonstrated experience leveraging a CRM tool to guide day-to-day activities, and an in-depth knowledge of the university academic model, as may be gained through experience as either alumni or faculty.  The Community College Regional Manager must remain flexible with his/her schedule to accommodate evening and weekend functions and adaptive to changes that occur to their assigned territory.  In addition, a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report is required for this position as a company car will be provided for business travel.
