Computer Science Adjunct Faculty - COMP 111

Franklin seeks applicants for a part-time faculty position to teach a face-to-face introductory programming course in our Computer Science program.  The University promotes a student-centered, quality-teaching environment; focused on working adults.  Founded in 1902, Franklin University has been the leading educator of nontraditional students in central Ohio and enjoys the strong support of the local business community.

An instructor is needed for COMP 111 Introduction to Computer Science and Object-Oriented Programming, the first course in the programming sequence.  Java is the teaching language in the course.  Along with emphasizing object-oriented concepts and basic programming principles, the course also encourages test-driven development.  Minimum qualifications include a master's degree in computer science, as well as teaching experience and significant Java programming experience.
