Content Editor

Franklin University is seeking a full-time Content Editor. The position will report directly to the Executive Director of the International Institute for Innovative Instruction and will assist faculty in completing course designs and changes.  Responsibilities include: assembling course materials, assisting in the creation of multimedia objects such as PowerPoint and voice-over presentations, editing and proofing materials, finalizing course content for deployment, and maintenance of courses. Course content will include student course materials, faculty course materials, and exam materials.

This individual should be able to work with minimal supervision, have the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, dependable, and possess excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree and proficiency in Microsoft Office products are required. Basic HTML and the ability to do simple graphic design for image manipulation are preferred skills.  In addition, experience with programs such as Articulate and Camtasia would be a plus in this position.
