Curriculum Management and Scheduling Coordinator

Franklin University has a position available for a full-time Curriculum Management and Scheduling Coordinator. This individual will have responsibility for coordinating the academic schedule, classroom assignments, and curriculum change management for the University.  He/she will:

• Coordinate and create the Academic Schedule for each term
• Schedule classrooms for multiple locations
• Assign meeting locations for various individuals at multiple locations
• Update instructor and course changes
• Enter Internships/Independent studies into system
• GoArmyED degree maps and other degree maps
• Upload  and upkeep of courses into GoArmyEd portal
• Attend as an ex-officio member of the curriculum committee
• Update data system (i.e., Colleague) with curriculum changes
• Consult with faculty regarding curriculum architecture
• Monitor and track curriculum changes
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of the University Academic Bulletin
• Assist with graduation preparation and day-of graduation activities
• Supervise student/work study students
• Provide information and documentation for accreditation activities
• Serve on committees and tasks forces within AIE and across the University
• Assist AIE projects as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

The position will require some late nights and weekends during the year.

A high school diploma is required with a Bachelor’s degree being preferred.  The selected individual must have at least 2 years of higher education experience.  In addition, we seek someone with a positive customer service orientation who can establish collaborative relationships with faculty, staff and administration.  The position requires someone with strong oral and written communication skills.  We prefer knowledge and experience with Ellucian SIS and someone with a continuous quality improvement mind-set.  The ability to learn new technologies and software, including OnBase programming, are desired attributes for this position.
