Decision Making and Problem-Solving Adjunct Faculty

Franklin University, located in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking Decision Making and Problem Solving adjunct faculty for BSAD 320 to teach face-to-face courses in Columbus and also online. This course focuses on the use of qualitative and quantitative tools to effectively assess organizational problems for arrival at an optimal solution..

The instructor must have a Master’s Degree (Ph.D. preferred) in a business related discipline; ideally, with a specialization in strategic and/or quantitative analysis.  Significant years of practice in organizational management and/or consulting in management/leadership positions with progressive responsibilities for budgeting, planning and strategic analysis of business operations is preferred

In addition to the education and experience listed above, the ideal instructor will have a minimum of 10 years organizational experience with at least 5 years in mid-level to upper level management with responsibilities for broad organizational functions such as strategic planning, budgeting, goal setting, evaluation, problem solving, performance improvement; demonstrated ability to apply state-of-the-art management planning and analysis across various organizational contexts and industries; and a working knowledge of systems theory and performance improvement applications. All adjunct faculty positions are part-time in the undergraduate Business Administration Program. This position would entail delivering content specific materials to adult learners, facilitating discussion, forming a learning community, and grading student work.
