Department of International Teaching and Innovation Service Work Study Assistant

The International Institute for Innovative Instruction, Department of International Teaching and Innovation Service is looking for a Work Study Assistant to provide administrative support and data entry on initiatives and projects for the Institute. This position is located at 236 E. Town St and reports to the Department Chair. The Work Study Assistant will support the Teaching and Learning center conference under supervision and responsibilities will include: data entry; website updates; Research prospective conference sponsors; designing conference badges and signage and other duties as assigned.

Hours are flexible and will vary depending on the candidate’s availability. The ideal candidate will be able to work 20-25 hours a week, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8-5 with flexibility available.

Candidates must have 1-2 years of customer service or administrative support experience.  The successful candidate will be familiar with website editing and social media tools such as blogs and tweeter.  Candidates must also have knowledge of Microsoft Office including strong Excel skills and a strong attention to detail.  Preference will be given to candidates with graphic design experience.  Graduate students are desired and strongly encouraged to apply.

All candidates must be current Franklin students, and have Federal Work Study eligibility.
