Director of Market Planning and Management
Franklin University is seeking a Director of Market Planning and Management. This individual is responsible the development, implementation and results management of the University’s marketing strategy for Franklin’ undergraduate, graduate, Community College Alliance and new domestic location segments and Franklin’s Urbana University and Ohio National University divisions. The Director is responsible for market planning and supporting strategies in support of University business objectives including market positioning, routes to market, prioritization of initiatives and requirements to build and develop a high-quality new student enrollment pipeline. The Director is a catalyst in the optimization and development of prospect engagement tools and has a clear view of funnel performance and results management. The Director is responsible for strong collaboration and coordination among University functions including Admission, Digital Marketing, and Creative Services, Marketing Communications and Public Relations and other University functions. The Director reports to the Executive Director of Marketing and Enrollment and leads a small team of marketing segment owners.
The successful candidate will be highly analytic with the ability to make data-driven decisions based on metrics and return-on-investment reporting and models. Strong computer skills, including expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are a must. A Master’s degree in Business, Management or Marketing and at least 5 years of relevant work experience in educational or corporate marketing, or brand/product marketing management are required. This individual will also have experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across multiple divisions and have the ability to remain productive under pressures that may come from deadlines and shifting priorities.
