Healthcare Information Management Adjunct

Franklin University, located in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking part-time adjunct faculty members to teach courses in support of its growing domestic and international programs. Franklin University, founded in 1902, promotes a student-centered, quality-teaching environment and is a leading educator of nontraditional students in Ohio and surrounding areas. The University is busy executing an ambitious strategic plan to expand educational opportunities to ever greater numbers of students across the country and around the world. The broad range of available courses, will  require instructors to teach domestic and international student populations in a technology enriched learning environment from virtually anywhere in the world. In addition, instructions may teach abroad at one of our many partner locations or teach international students at one of our domestic campus locations.

Candidates must have a minimum of a Master's degree in the Health Information Management, Health Informatics, or related field and either five or more years of experience as an effective college instructor or seven or more years of tested experience within their profession.  The RHIA credential from AHIMA is strongly preferred.
