Mathematics Adjunct - Beavercreek, Ohio
Franklin University, located in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach Fundamental Algebra, a Mathematics course covering Introductory and Intermediate Algebra, and Statistical Concepts, an algebra-based, college level statistics course covering both inferential and descriptive statistics. These classes will be taught at the Beavercreek location, teaching in a student-centered environment that is focused on teaching working adults.
Requirements for this position include at least a Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Mathematics Education with at least two years of teaching experience in these areas. Computer literacy, proficient use of MS Word and Excel and a desire to teach adult student learners are also required.
In addition to the educational qualifications described above, the candidate should have some experience with various online learning products, graphing calculators and should have an excellent work ethic and passion to teach Mathematics and statistics to busy working adult students with flexibility and integrity.
