MBA Operations Management Adjunct Oman

Franklin University, located in Columbus, Ohio is seeking part-time adjunct faculty members to teach our MBA Operations Management course in Oman.  The course will be offered in a hybrid format from September 24th through November 4th with traveling in-country dates being from October 15th-October 25th.  This course focuses on the importance of effective and efficient management of operations.  Methods to select, plan and improve organizational processes will be examined and the application of optimal capacity decisions in supply chains, development production, and inventory plans and schedules will be performed.  The students will learn quality management and improvement processes to increase the efficiency of a process.

The successful candidate will possess a doctoral degree (D.B.A. or Ph.D. in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering preferred) with 18 graduate credit hours in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering.  In addition, he/she should have eight to ten years of experience with at least two years of senior-level work experience in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering with three or more years of experience teaching Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering in higher education.  A Six Sigma Black Belt Certification would be a plus in this position.
