Planning and University Services Work Study Assistant

The work study candidate will assist the Planning and University Services department on daily tasks including but not limited to: organizing and filing documents, scheduling meetings with internal and external attendees, maintaining the Evening Leadership calendar, developing and editing formal Word documents and Excel spreadsheets, preparing PowerPoint presentations, researching information and resources on the web, preparing documents and materials for meetings with representatives from governmental and professional organizations, and other administrative duties as assigned.

Work hours are flexible and will vary depending on the candidate‚Äôs availability and the workload of the department.  The ideal candidate will be able to work 20-25 hours a week, Monday through Friday.

The candidate must be detail oriented and well-organized, comfortable working around sensitive and confidential information, and able to multitask and prioritize tasks and projects. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a high standard of work quality.  This position requires decent internet research skills and moderate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

All candidates must be current Franklin students, and have Federal Work Study eligibility.
