Student Affairs Work Study Assistant

The Center for Career Development and Office of Student Life are seeking a Work-Study Position to assist the department by providing administrative support for programs, services, and activities. Primary work assignments and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


• Filing
• Phone outreach to students
• Event coordination assistance
• Process documentation assistance
• Meeting minutes
• Resume review support
• Assist with data reports
• Research requests
• Special projects as assigned

Hours of work will vary depending on the candidate’s availability and the workload of the department.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, dependable, able to multi-task, and proficient with Microsoft Office products. Candidates must also display strong communication and problem- solving skills as well as the ability to work with highly confidential documents.

This position will be a part of Student Affairs, and primarily supervised by the Director of Student Life with support from the Director of the Center for Career Development. The student may work with/for other staff in the unit on a project basis, as time, skills, and need dictate.

All candidates must be current Franklin students, and have Federal Work Study eligibility.
