Student Development Work Study Assistant
The Student Development Work Study Position will assist the department by providing administrative support for programs, services, and activities. Primary work assignments and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assisting departments within Student Development who support particular student populations:
• Academic Advising
• Post-Secondary Enrollment
• Student Life
• Center for Career Development
General Office Responsibilities:
• Phone outreach to students
• Scanning preparation
• Managing data reports
• Research requests
• Special projects as assigned
Work Hours: Hours of work will vary depending on the candidate’s availability and the workload of the department.
Qualifications: Candidate must be detail oriented, dependable, able to multi-task, and proficient with Microsoft Office products. Candidates must also display strong communication and problem- solving skills as well as the ability to work with highly confidential documents.
Supervision: This position will be a part of Student Development, and primarily supervised by the Student Development Administrative Assistant with support from the Director of Student Development. The student may work with/for other staff in the unit on a project basis, as time, skills, and need dictate.
All candidates must be current Franklin students, and have Federal Work Study eligibility.
