Student Learning Center Assistant - PT

Franklin University’s Student Learning Center (SLC) is looking for a dynamic, self motivated individual for a part-time Assistant position for our testing office at the Main Campus, Downtown.

Primary responsibilities include; providing customer service to students, faculty, and staff who visit the SLC, proctoring and administering student tests, answering the telephone and responding to emails regarding the SLC, and other general administrative duties.  Additionally, the part-time SLC Assistant will be responsible for aiding the SLC full-time staff with projects to support the overall departmental functions. These projects will be designated by the Assistant Director of Testing and Operations.

The successful candidate must be able to work both as part of a team as well as independently, possess excellent communication skills and be able to manage time effectively. In addition, the ideal candidate should have a commitment to providing excellent customer service to our internal and external customers. Must be proficient with the Internet, Microsoft Office applications, and have the ability to learn additional software applications. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

This position will work 20 hours a week and must have both day and evening (until 8 p.m.) availability as well as the availability to work up to three Saturdays (from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.) per month.
