University Advancement & Strategic Relations Work Study Assistant

The University Advancement & Strategic Relations Work Study Assistant will support the alumni relations and development office by providing administrative support.  Duties include, but are not limited to: research and compile accumulated information on financial capability, philanthropic tendencies, giving propensity and linkages to university of individuals, corporations and foundations; data entry of researched prospect information; updates to the alumni database; general administrative duties.

Hours are flexible and will vary depending on the candidate’s availability and the workload of the department. The ideal candidate will be able to work 20-25 hours a week, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 9am-5pm.

Candidate must: have strong computer skills and a background in internet-based research and Microsoft Office suite of products as well as other databases. We seek someone with strong attention to detail, demonstrated active listening skills and process orientation, who is flexible, can prioritize, multitask and manage several projects simultaneously in a time sensitive environment. Must be able to work independently with timely follow through and accuracy and operate with the highest degree of confidentiality and discretion.  

All candidates must be current Franklin students, and have Federal Work Study eligibility.
