Franklin University Receives $885,000 Grant to Help Prepare College Credit Plus (CCP) Teachers in the State of Ohio

Franklin University has been awarded a grant in the amount of $885,000 from the Ohio Department of Education and Department of Higher Education. The grant, the largest awarded in Ohio, was announced in December and provides funding to help high school faculty in Ohio receive the qualifications required to teach College Credit Plus courses, a statewide program that allows seventh-through-12th grade students to earn high school and college credit at the same time.

Rhodes State College and Franklin University Partnership allows students to earn bachelors’ degrees at Rhodes

Students can now earn two bachelors’ degrees in five semesters on the Rhodes State College campus through a partnership with Franklin University. Today, the two institutions signed a formal agreement that will allow Rhodes State graduates and anyone in the community with an associate’s degree to enroll in an accelerated program, taught by Franklin faculty, to concurrently earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and one in Management & Leadership.
