Franklin University, one of the leading educators of working adults, announced it has appointed Sandy Brubaker as the Campus Director for its new Regional Location in Beavercreek, Ohio.
“The role of a campus director requires an individual who can strategically lead the planning and engagement of the University within the Dayton region, as well as provide educational leadership to faculty and staff,” said Bill Chan, Executive Director of Domestic Expansion at Franklin University. “Sandy has a strong background in strategic management and understands the unique needs of today’s adult students.”
Brubaker’s position will continue the strong relationship Franklin University holds with residents in southwestern Ohio as well as with the community colleges in the area. As a campus director, Brubaker will work to ensure the strategic direction and financial and budgetary oversight of the new regional location, as well as engage with community leadership, business leaders and organizations for business development and partnerships, including community college partnerships.
In accepting her position, Brubaker said, “I appreciate the commitment to workforce development in the area and look forward to serving as a partner in these efforts on behalf of Franklin University. I am excited by the opportunity to be part of a University so dedicated to supporting adults on their journey to achieving their academic and career goals.”
Brubaker has served in a variety of roles focused on helping others achieve success. Her career has included serving at Edison Community College as Vice President for Student Affairs and also as a Career Counselor. Brubaker began her career helping others move forward through the Miami County Department of Job and Family Services.
Brubaker earned her Master of Science in Education from the University of Dayton and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.
Franklin’s new regional location in Beavercreek allows the University to provide access to a broader community of learners and better serve the educational needs of southwestern Ohio residents, as well as students and alumni from our partner schools at Edison, Clark State, and Sinclair Community Colleges.
