Indianapolis, IN —

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Franklin University of Ohio is pleased to announce its new Education Partnership with Indiana Park and Recreation Association (IPRA).  Through this new partnership, the two organizations have found a way to serve their education and independence-focused missions by creating affordable, high quality education opportunities for the dedicated members and employees of IPRA.

Marnie Glanner, Executive Director of Franklin University in Indianapolis is enthusiastic about the addition of the employees of IPRA to the Education Partnership Program. “By signing this agreement, the leadership of the Indiana Park and Recreation Association has made a commitment to developing their constituents,” said Glanner. “We appreciate the confidence they have shown toward the quality of our programs.”

“Professional development and continuing education are areas we emphasize as a Professional Association.  We see the benefit of providing avenues for our members to develop themselves and raise the bar for the parks and recreation field across the board.  By our members choosing to develop themselves, in turn it will help them provide more to their local community” said Chris Owens, Executive Director of the Indiana Park and Recreation Association.  “Partnering with Franklin University affords our members a convenient opportunity to grow by working toward an advanced degree that is both affordable and high-quality.”

The Education Partnership Program is an initiative offered by Franklin University’s Indianapolis location. Quickly gaining attention across the Indianapolis area, the initiative is recognized as an opportunity for employers dedicated to the professional development of their employees. “This program just makes sense with the challenges that today’s employers face,” says Glanner. “It empowers employers and organizations to provide a high-quality, high-value education option to their employees or members at no cost to the organization.  It is a wonderful way to build employee confidence, improve morale, and enhance credentials, all while providing hard-working adults an alternative option to traditional college to complete a degree.”
